Sean Wendell, CPA

Chief Executive Officer

Sean Wendell is the CEO & part-owner of Beacon Behavioral Health. He also serves on the Board of Directors.

Sean has over 26 years of behavioral healthcare experience. Before joining Beacon in May of 2000, Sean gained valuable knowledge of healthcare management, serving as an auditor specializing in the healthcare industry with one of the nation’s leading accounting firms. Prior to his promotion to CEO, he served as Beacon’s Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Finance Officer.

Born and raised in Little Rock, AR, Sean now resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife of 24 years and three children. He is an active member of his community, serving on multiple committees and boards, including an executive committee and capital campaign committee responsible for building a new church and school. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, reading, snow skiing, and spending time with his family.

Accomplishments

Leadership and experience have afforded Sean the opportunity to lead multiple initiatives in business development, operations, recruitment and retention, and revenue cycle management:

  • Promoted to CFO quickly after joining Beacon as Sr. VP of Finance
  • Consolidated multiple business lines, focusing solely on home care and behavioral health, resulting in a significant increase in revenue and net income as CFO
  • Navigated the home care division from cost-based reimbursement to a prospective payment system, growing the home care division from two sites to 18 sites, covering all of Louisiana
  • Successfully took the home care division through PE sale in March 2007
  • Promoted to CEO in March 2007 and became a part-owner
  • Focused on growing and expanding the behavioral health division from one site offering PHP to 20 sites offering PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, and traditional outpatient services after selling the home care division management

    John Roberts

    Chief Financial Officer

    As Chief Financial Officer of Beacon Behavioral, John Roberts oversees the company’s financial activities and directs its overall financial vision.

    He is responsible for ensuring the company’s profitability by developing and implementing strategies that drive the company’s long-term financial performance. John works in collaboration with the CEO and leadership team to ensure that Beacon’s operations and strategic growth plans are carried out in a successful manner. He actively plans, executes, and manages financial activities. This includes direct responsibility for financial operations, accounting, business integration, financial planning and analysis, and debt and equity financing.

    John has over twenty years of experience in the financial sector. He has built an impressive portfolio of accomplishments and valuable insights throughout this time. Prior to joining Beacon, John was the CFO for Harvard MedTech, an emerging digital health company utilizing virtual reality to deliver behavioral and social interventions for trauma recovery. John also served as the Divisional CFO for Fresenius Medical North America managing the company’s physician practice services division. He was formerly Vice President of Finance for National Cardiovascular Partners supporting multiple PE-backed transactions in a rapidly scaling business. In addition to his functional roles in FP&A, he also provided analytical support to both executives and board members in the hospitality industry.

    His vast experience in the healthcare sector and close collaboration with executives have enhanced his skills in financial planning and analysis. He is well experienced in building and leading high-performing teams while leveraging technology to drive process improvements. John has quickly become a key asset to the Beacon organization since joining in 2023. He has already helped identify areas of cost savings and revenue growth. His ability to quickly assess and understand complex financial problems will continue to be an asset to the Becon organization.

    John holds a Master of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University and completed the Professional Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. His studies have made him an astute financial advisor and officer, and his commitment to the health sector demonstrates his commitment to serving. His dedication to helping others is evident in his professional pursuits, and his education and experience make him an ideal financial leader.

    As Chief Operating Officer, Rob Jardeleza brings over 15 years of executive healthcare leadership experience to Beacon Behavioral Partners.

    Joining the organization in 2024, Rob oversees all partner and team support initiatives, playing a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and growth strategies.

    Throughout his career in healthcare, Rob has successfully guided multiple physician partner groups through significant growth cycles and successful exits, demonstrating his expertise in operational management and strategic development within complex healthcare environments.

    Prior to his tenure in healthcare leadership, Rob served with honor and distinction as a Navy SEAL (Team 4), completing a decade of active service.

    Tabatha Golding

    Sr. VP of Outpatient Relations

    As Sr. VP of Outpatient Operations at Beacon, Tabatha is responsible for improving the quality of patient care, encouraging the company to meet vital financial goals, and building strong employee retention rates. She is also responsible for supervising Beacon’s 9 IOP clinics and 4 private practice divisions.
    Tabatha has worked in behavioral health management for over 10 years and has been with Beacon for 7 years. Prior to her time at Beacon, she served as the Director of the Outpatient Clinic, Intake Coordinator, and Marketing Representative at Magnolia Behavioral Healthcare for 4 years. Additionally, Tabatha worked in real estate management and served at the same company for 8 years.

    Born and raised in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Tabatha lives with her husband of 10 years and their 2 children, a 14-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. When she isn’t spending time with her family, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.

    Angie King, LCSW

    VP of Customer Relations

    As VP of Customer Relations at Beacon, Angie supervises, trains, and supports a team of Patient Care Representatives.

    She oversees the development of strategic plans to target new business opportunities and assesses the behavioral health needs in each community to improve Beacon’s performance.

    Angie has worked in behavioral health for nearly 20 years, starting in direct patient care roles and transitioning to business development roles. During her time in the industry, she has worked in a range of healthcare positions throughout the southern Louisiana region, spending time as a unit social worker, case manager, intake director, and clinical liaison.

    Originally from Laplace, Louisiana, Angie now lives in Mandeville where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not spending time at her daughters’ sporting events, she enjoys entertaining friends and family in her home.
